Sip on the Season: The Flavors of Fall for Wellness

We’re so excited to be back in time for spooky season.

Fall brings out a true duality in our communities: those who openly love pumpkin-flavored everything, and then those of us who pretend we don’t. Some of us say “I’m buying this for my girlfriend!” but we’re not. We’re buying that vanilla pumpkin latte for ourselves. They’re good. Really good.

Well everyone, hold on tight because we’re about to take pumpkin season to a completely new level. Herbs from the Heart is now officially embracing Pumpkin season by announcing some amazing new products. Beyond this, though, we’re about to unleash some powerful information on you: there are some remarkable health benefits to pumpkins. That’s right. In addition, those other herbs that spice up your drinks (like cinnamon and cloves) are benefiting your wellness in more ways than you might think. So now when you’re drinking your third pumpkin chai tea of the day in secret, you might consider drinking it proudly for everyone to see. Because you’re actually doing it in the name of self-care and self-love.

These new products will be seasonal and available for a limited time, so fill up on your pumpkin herbal goodies before they’re gone!

Pumpin’ Out some Pumpkin Knowledge

Itchy beard? Acne prone skin? Red or sun-damaged skin? Got parasites? Just wanna get festive?!! That’s right, there’s a pumpkin for that. 🎃

Pumpkin is remarkable for the skin, which truthfully is something I had no idea about until a few months ago. It’s rich in elements like beta-carotene, Vitamin C, antioxidants, and Vitamin E. It benefits the skins tone and texture and can helps its production of healthy collagen. For some of us who are acne prone or have oily skin, it benefits in this department too; regularly using it in your skin care can lead to fewer clogged pores and increased circulation.

This leads us to the first of Herbs of the Heart’s new products:

Pumpkin & Spiced Whipped Body Scrub

It’s a brand new one, and people are already raving about it. It’s got real organic dehydrated pumpkin, pumpkin seed oil, pumpkin pie spice, sea salt, Vitamin E, clove, & more. It serves wonderfully to help with exfoliation, as a pre-shave scrub, or just to yourself a couple of times a week.

Your New Afternoon Treat

Each of these 2 separate? Wonderful. But some things are just better together.

We’ve got a delicious and nutritious recipe for you filled with Fall & herbs:

Pumpkin Pie Spice Chai Latte Recipe

This brings up a great opportunity to dive into some of the other seasonal herbs & their health benefits:

o   Known to inhibit the growth of candida, yeast, and bacteria

Cinnamon

o   A wonderful circulatory stimulant

o   Helpful for digestive upset, diarrhea, and maintaining healthy blood sugar levels

 Ginger

Maybe Just a Little More Pumpkin?

Pumpkin Lip Balm

You ever see something and think: “this looks dangerous.” Part chapshick, part delicious snack. I’ve intentionally stayed away from this knowing that I’d probably go through 6 a week and it would become a bit of a problem. But let’s be honest, this looks amazing.

Last, but in no way least, is pumpkin seeds. Some of my friends know how much I love them. Sometimes I walk into their home just casually grazing on my 1 pound bag of them.  They make a fantastic addition to our dishes this time of year: soups, hummus, Fall salads, smoothies, and dips.

They’re delicious, yes. They also have significant health benefits, including: regulating blood sugar levels, improving heart health, aiding in swelling and inflammation in the body, addressing parasites, and much more. One of these “mores,” for me, is the way the oil of pumpkin seeds soothes my itchy beard.

The next time you hear from us, we’ll be stepping into December, which will also mean stepping into the next round of seasonal offerings from Herbs from the Heart. At this time, Andrea will also be announcing some exciting new bundles, just in time for gifting for the holidays!

Sending love,
Your Herbs from the Heart Team
